DUBAI-AUTO PARTS 2001:20-22 MARCH, 2001

Auto Parts, Dubai, has evolved as one of the leading after -market trade shows in the Middle East, exclusively for Automobile Parts, Accessories, Tyres, Batteries, Lubricants and Garage Equipment.

Having outgrown the old venue in size, this year's Show, 6th of the series - shifted to a new venue, the "Airport Expo" and was inaugurated by Mr. Adl Rehman AI Mutawaie, Director General, Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry who was then accompanied by Mr. Kishore Dudani, Vice
Consul, Consulate General of India, Dubai and the ACMA Representative, on a tour of the India Pavilion and introduced to ACMA Exhibitors.

ACMA focussed on the Middle Eastern market with member participation, as far back as 1996 at the 3rd International Auto Show in Sharjah. Subsequently, the Association has participated in Auto parts, Dubai, which offers unlimited opportunities, to participants of this unique sector specific Business Forum and presents excellent openings to auto component manufacturers and suppliers to meet buyers/ importers from all the Middle East, Africa, GCC countries, etc.

ACMA's 5th participation this year in Auto Parts Dubai, rented 96 sqm of space for group participation of product and catalogue Exhibitors as well as the ACMA information Booth. The Stand, projected as India Pavilion, had 8 member companies displaying their products- Beta Industrial Products, Rising Sun International, Paranjape Metal Shapers, Banco Products India Ltd. Shriram Pistons & Rings Ltd. Cast Metal Industries Pvt. Ltd. Sundram Fasteners Ltd. and Anand Motors.

The Information Stand displayed company literature for Catalogue Exhibitors and promoted the forthcoming AUTO EXPO 2002 in which participants of and visitors to Auto Parts, showed keen interest.

The measure of success of the ACMA participation in Auto Parts, Dubai, was the feed back received of Exhibitors successes in developing new contacts/ business. The Middle -East continues to be a vast market awaiting further tapping through many more repeat participation.
