EXHIBITIONS OVERSEAS
MOSCOW - AUTOTECH’ 2001
: 20 - 22 APRIL 2001
ACMA invited by the Russian Association of Automotive
Components Manufacturers (RAPAK), participated in an
automotive industry-related exhibition in Moscow. The
event, organised at the Sokolniki Park Fairgrounds,
was the first AUTOTECH show of its kind. There were
about 27 exhibitors comprising Automotive Component
and Accessory Manufacturers, Importers and Distributors
of auto spare parts, Industry Associations from abroad
and a number of Automotive Publications from various
parts of the Russian Federation.

ACMA made contacts
and also disseminated information on the Indian
auto component industry. Six member companies
displayed their product catalogues :
ACMA had been requested by the Organisers to
make a presentation on the current status of the
Indian automotive industry with special focus
on the auto component sector. Some Russian Journalists
and automotive companies, present at the Conference,
inquired about the various aspects of the Indian
automotive industry. |

The exhibition was, also, open to the public at all
hours of the event. ACMA met with a number of representatives
of Russian automotive companies, importers, journalists
and made some relevant contacts.

RAPAK is keen to take part in the forthcoming Auto
Expo in Delhi, from January 15-22, 2002. It will also
explore the possibility of bringing a delegation at
that time.
