National Activity

While on Business promotion, it must be mentioned that the IGEP /ACMA partnership has been a successful one. IGEP used its marketing strength and widely publicised the India participation at Automechanika along with ACMA.

Of the 2,632 foreign exhibitors from 64 companies, India ranked 10th with 96 exhibitors, of which 40 were in the ACMA stand.

India Day, on the 7th of September, was a tremendous success. Visitors included the Consul General Mr. T. Topden, and senior colleagues from the Indian Consulate in Frankfurt.

We wish to sincerely thank all the members of the Automechanika Committee and especially those who were present in Frankfurt and lent unstinting support, in all matters.

On the Business promotion front, the IGEP/ACMA partnership has been a successful one. IGEP used its marketing strength and widely publicised the India participation in Automechanika along with ACMA

  • IGEP /ACMA press meet, held in the IGEP office in Delhi
  • IGEP press meet in the ACMA stand to publicise the India participation
  • ACMA publicity at a number of trade shows, international events, missions, as well as
  • Through MoU partners in 12 countries, and through other international contacts.

    To further facilitate business promotion for the Exhibitors, there were.
  • Interpreters speaking five languages:
    German, English, Spanish, French and Italian.
  • And Hospitality Centre serving tea/coffee, soft drinks (including sugar free) and Indian snacks to visitors

PRODUCTS ON DISPLAY:

Representing practically the entire range of items manufactured, the parts on display were:

  • Engine Components
  • Brake & Suspension Components
  • Electrical Components
  • Drive Transmission & Steering Components
  • Other Items such as: Door locks, Regulators, Handles, Mirrors, etc.
