About IPO Forum

ACMA has been taking many initiatives in strengthening the business relationship and linkages between the OEMs, IPOs (International Purchasing office in India) and the component industry in order to sustain the growth and bring new opportunities. More than 30 IPOs have their presence in India and are playing a crucial role in inter-linking the Indian auto component manufacturers.

In order to carry this forward, IPO members joined together and formed an IPO Forum in the year 2008.

The IPO Forum is to develop a platform to discuss common issues between the IPOs and suppliers in India and to examine how to further strengthen the network and to bring new opportunities to grow the export of automotive components from India in the future.

Objectives of the Forum:

* To facilitate growth of automotive and related components exports from India
* To partner, coach and develop suppliers to improve their capability
* To enhance capability of our Purchasing professionals
* To benchmark and improve our internal processes
* Be opinion leaders and liaise with government in order to facilitate exports
